As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing,
implementing, and managing the infrastructure components of our organization's
technology environment. This includes hardware, software, network systems, and
security measures. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure that
our infrastructure supports our organizational goals and meets the needs of our users.
As a IT Infrastructure engineer you will:
Design and Implementation:

Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and meet their technology needs.

Conduct research and recommend improvements to our existing infrastructure.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Perform regular maintenance, updates, and backups of infrastructure components.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.

Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users.
Security and Compliance:

Ensure that all infrastructure components comply with industry standards and Organizational
policies.

Implement and monitor security measures to protect systems and data.

Conduct regular security audits and participate in risk management activities.
Project Management:

Lead and participate in infrastructure projects, from conception through to
Completion.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for infrastructure projects.

Document infrastructure configurations, changes, and procedures.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with the IT team and other departments to ensure alignment of
Infrastructure with business goals.

Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
Job requirements:
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience in IT infrastructure roles, with a focus on network, systems, and/or security.

Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.

Experience with cloud services, virtualization technologies, and disaster recovery
Planning.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:

Industry certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA).

Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
